Day with Thephong

Today I meet Thephong after school and we went to Shinjuku to enjoy our time. We first went to coffee and then we later joined Esteban for dinner at Ootaya.

Sick

Today, I woke up at around 8am but I had no energy to get up so I laid in bed for a while in order to get some energy. However, no matter how long I slept I still did not have any energy so I decided that I should maybe sleep one more hour at around 9am I got up and took a shower still not feeling one hundred percent well. Soon after getting dressed and going to school I felt the urge to go back to sleep and on top of this my body was acing. After going to school, I got another email saying my math professor had canceled the class. At this point I was not feeling well so I decided to call my work and them I would not be able to make into work today because I was not feeling well. After going to the doctors and receiving some medication I came back home went to bed at around 1pm and woke up at 9pm. However, I still feel bad and my body is still acing, if I do not feel good tomorrow morning I will head back to the doctors. I hope I don`t have the flu.

The Day After

I woke up early the next day at around 7am and I headed to the living room where Thephong had already been up and was working on his homework. When he said good morning the first thing that came out of my mouth was "I am sorry for last night." But being the good friend he is just just nodded it off and said it happens to everyone and for me not to worry.

Soon after saying good morning I needed to take as shower because I was wearing the same clothes from the night before and I smelled like vomit and cigarettes. After taking a shower, I asked Thephong what happened to Patrick and the rest of the gang after I went to the restroom. Thephong said that they went out and had dinner. He also told me while I was passed out on the counter and he was helping me to feel better a Brazilian guy asked if he could take a picture of us. And being the photogenic guy he is he said sure why not.

Thus, I am sure there is a picture of me out there on the net somewhere with my face smack down on the counter in missionary position.

After eating breakfast, Thephong and I headed to Shinjuku and order to go to his doctors appointment and join Esteban for lunch at his favorite restaurant El Torrito. After waiting in the lounge for Thephong to finish his doctors appointment we headed to South Shinjuku and meet Esteban for lunch and soon after meet Masa for Coffee at Tully`s Coffee were we took a abundance of pictures. Soon after we decided to head to Karaoke and that is where we met Esteban`s friend Cesear from Mexico. After Karaoke we went back to the the Southern Terrace and talked and took more pictures and then I came back home and went to bad because I was still hung over.

P.S. Every time we took a picture with Esteban`s camera I made a weird face because I wanted to mix up the pics a bit....

June 10,2010 I thought I was going to die

This last Friday I had a horrible day. The day started out with me waking up at around 10:30 which made me late for my class that starts at 10:20. Since I made a promise with myself this last semester to refrain from missing class. So in order to keep this promise I decided to run for the day and head to the station. However, once I had reached the station I had noticed I had forgot my wallet so I had to run another 10 minutes back to my house in order to get my wallet. After heading out the door for the second time I noticed I had received an email. The email was from my school saying that class had been canceled for personal reasons. After reading this email, I decided I needed to take another shower because I was covered in sweat.

After an hour of lounging around my house I decided to head to Shinjuku to meet up with my friend Thephong, whom I had a study date with. After meeting up with him in our usual spot in Shinjuku we decided to head to Mcdonalds since they offer outlets and wireless internet. Once reaching McDonalds I had remembered I had not eaten anything the whole day so I decided to order a cheese burger and chicken nuggets and a M size diet coke. After picking up my tray from the counter I headed for the stairs. This is when the continuous bad luck streak hit again. I tripped on the stairs and dropped all of my food and I was only able to save my cheese burger from a dirty death. After making it up the stairs I noticed Thephong had secured two seats for us to study.

After a couple hours of studying we decided to get a drink because he had studied hard that day and we should be able to relax and enjoy ourselves for a little bit before we head back home. While walking around we had noticed that place offered all you can drink for 1000 yen (10 dollars) for about 2 hours. Since the price was so cheap Thephong and I decided to enter this bar and have a drink. Of course, I ordered white wine because it is my usual drink I drink when I go out. After ordering our drinks we noticed our mutual friend Patrick in the bar and he asked us to join him for a drink. After drinking for a while, more of Patricks friends came to the bar and we started to drink more and more. After a total four small glasses of white wine I had this bad feeling, so I asked Thephong to take me to the bathroom because I felt like I was going to vomit. However, to my surprise I couldn`t stand up. So he had to carry em to the bathroom when we finally reached the bathroom I locked myself in the stall and just sat on the toilet with the feeling that my rescued cheese burger and four glasses of white wine were fighting their way back up. After what seemed like a couple of minutes I started vomiting in the bathroom and Thephong came to help feel better. Since the bar is fairly small many of the other customers had ot use the toilet stall, thus I was at the sing with my face on the counter and my butt sticking out asking for a old style raping if this was in South Africa. None the Less, I was in and out of consciousness for about 2 hours and at 11:30 I had gathered enough courage to leave the bar with Thephong who nicely helped me to my home station. Once we reached my house I went straight to bed and passed out, while Thephong being the good person he is went to my living and started to study and make himself dinner.

Today, I woke up kinda early because I wanted to get some housework done before it became too late in the day. Thus I washed clothes and went for a jog in the afternoon. Upon arriving at home I noticed I got an email from my Korean friend who lives close to me and he was wondering if I would be interested in going for a walk. I replied and said "yes" the reason being I want to lose the extra 6 pounds I have gained this last holiday season.
