Recently I got a call from my friend Yonjuu AKA Angela, she told me that she has started working at KCP and is enjoying it. However, at the moment she said she is living in a hotel and needs to find an apartment quick before her funds run out and she becomes another homeless salary woman on the streets of cold Tokyo. After hearing her talk and how much she enjoys Japan it made me think of what I wanted to do with my future. At the moment I am attending Pueblo Community college were I am taking some elective classes so I can transfer to another college this coming year. At the moment I am torn between two schools. The first choice is the University of Hawaii at Hilo, according to my friend Alain University of Hawaii is a good place for me to pursue my degree in East Asian studies however, and I might find the surrounding a bit boring. My second choice is Temple University Japan campus I have lived in Japan before and I enjoyed my time living there. The University of Hawaii will have a great Japanese language program and I hear that the teachers are easy going and quite well at teaching. While Temple University offers good classes and I can practice Japanese daily in Japan, which makes my language study more convenient.
