Weekend of 9/18-19

This last week was a very difficult for me because I have received so much homework from my instructors. I cannot wait until I graduate because I will be able to enjoy life with out the stress of doing homework. After school on Friday I met up with Thephong and the two of us went to Azabu Juban and Roppongi area to have dinner. We ate ramen at this very cheap ramen shop near Roppongi crossing. I think it only cost us 390 for a bowl of ramen. AfSoon after eating ramen I came home and fell asleep.

On Saturday I went to my part time job in Shinjuku and soon after I came home and fell asleep. When I awoke later that night my roommate and his friend who is from Osaka were in the living room and they asked if I wanted to join them for a drink.

On Sunday after my part time I went to the Vietnam festival at Yoyogi and I had a quick bite to eat with Thephong.

I had a good weekend and I hope I will have more enjoyable weekends in the future

Smelly Monday

Today, I woke up late and I didn`t make it to my first class of the day. Considering I had woken up late and I had a class that started at 12:45 I hurried up and got dressed. Once I was dressed I ran to the station and caught the 11:00am train. While I was riding the train I noticed a strange smell.


When I got off the train at Azabu Juban I met up with my friend Thephong and we went to go eat lunch. While we were walking he said "what is that nasty smell." After saying that he look at me and said I smelled bad. I couldn`t go to school smelly because there are many kids in my class and I did not want to be considered the boy who does not takes bathes. So we headed to American Apparel and I bought a new dress shirt and then following my shopping spree we headed to Monsoon Cafe located in Azabu where we had a nice lunch.

Sunday in Shinjuku

This last Sunday I meet with my friend Jim, who took me out for some cake to celebrate my birthday. We met in Shinjuku and then we went to OIOI annex building where there was a cafe by the name of Brooklyn Parlor. The cafe itself was really big and I had a nice relaxed atmosphere. The cake was delicious but a bit pricey. After eating cake I received a present from Jim. I received some incense and a diesel key ring.

My Birthday

Last week I celebrated my birthday. I cannot believe I have already turned 24 years old and I am still in school. However, I had a great week with friends and it was a real enjoyable birthday. Here are some pictures from the week.

Day with Thephong

Today I meet Thephong after school and we went to Shinjuku to enjoy our time. We first went to coffee and then we later joined Esteban for dinner at Ootaya.

Sick

Today, I woke up at around 8am but I had no energy to get up so I laid in bed for a while in order to get some energy. However, no matter how long I slept I still did not have any energy so I decided that I should maybe sleep one more hour at around 9am I got up and took a shower still not feeling one hundred percent well. Soon after getting dressed and going to school I felt the urge to go back to sleep and on top of this my body was acing. After going to school, I got another email saying my math professor had canceled the class. At this point I was not feeling well so I decided to call my work and them I would not be able to make into work today because I was not feeling well. After going to the doctors and receiving some medication I came back home went to bed at around 1pm and woke up at 9pm. However, I still feel bad and my body is still acing, if I do not feel good tomorrow morning I will head back to the doctors. I hope I don`t have the flu.

The Day After

I woke up early the next day at around 7am and I headed to the living room where Thephong had already been up and was working on his homework. When he said good morning the first thing that came out of my mouth was "I am sorry for last night." But being the good friend he is just just nodded it off and said it happens to everyone and for me not to worry.

Soon after saying good morning I needed to take as shower because I was wearing the same clothes from the night before and I smelled like vomit and cigarettes. After taking a shower, I asked Thephong what happened to Patrick and the rest of the gang after I went to the restroom. Thephong said that they went out and had dinner. He also told me while I was passed out on the counter and he was helping me to feel better a Brazilian guy asked if he could take a picture of us. And being the photogenic guy he is he said sure why not.

Thus, I am sure there is a picture of me out there on the net somewhere with my face smack down on the counter in missionary position.

After eating breakfast, Thephong and I headed to Shinjuku and order to go to his doctors appointment and join Esteban for lunch at his favorite restaurant El Torrito. After waiting in the lounge for Thephong to finish his doctors appointment we headed to South Shinjuku and meet Esteban for lunch and soon after meet Masa for Coffee at Tully`s Coffee were we took a abundance of pictures. Soon after we decided to head to Karaoke and that is where we met Esteban`s friend Cesear from Mexico. After Karaoke we went back to the the Southern Terrace and talked and took more pictures and then I came back home and went to bad because I was still hung over.

P.S. Every time we took a picture with Esteban`s camera I made a weird face because I wanted to mix up the pics a bit....
